A note from La tutora...

Hola estudiantes de español!

The language lab has been extremely busy this semester and that's great. I'm glad you're all taking advantage of free tutoring! Just thought I'd send out a few updates....

1.) Starting Oct. 25th, I will be adding another hour on to my Thursday morning lab hours. My language lab hours will be as follows:

Monday 8am - 12:30pm
Tuesday 11:15am - 12:15pm
Wednesday 8am - 12:30pm
Thursday 10am - 12:30pm & 2pm - 4pm

2.) The following Thursdays I will be unable to make it to the lab for my regular morning hours:
Oct. 11th
Oct. 18th
Nov. 1st.
I WILL however be in the lab for my usual afternoon hours from 2pm-4pm.

3.) Cristina has kindly reminded me that I am not to help you too much on your paper corrections so if any of you are looking for help on your papers just know that I will be making corrections similar to the ones you get from your professors now. If you are coming in with a draft that has already been corrected by a professor, please make sure that you have looked over it throughly and made all the corrections you can before you come to me with questions.  I know that sometimes it's hard to remember what an article, DOP, or preposition is. If this is what you struggle with, come to the lab and I will be happy to refresh your memory.

I'm very sorry for any inconvenience all this may cause but it's been a crazy semester this Fall and I have some things that I have to get done for my classes and they can't be done at any other time. If you have any questions, concerns, or need to schedule a private tutoring appointment please feel free to email me (Ana Turba) at: turbam21@uwgb.edu

Hasta luego,
Ana
